Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of WordMaster. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use WordMaster.
• If you are under the age of majority in your region, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

2. The Service

WordMaster is an English vocabulary learning application that may include:

• Flashcards, quizzes, listening and spelling exercises, pronunciation practice, and gamified review flows.
• AI-assisted roleplay and story generation features.
• Cloud sync, profile features, rankings, notifications, and subscription-based premium access.

3. Accounts

• You may create an account with email/password, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and sign-in credentials.
• You must provide accurate information and may not impersonate another person.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for unlawful activity.
• Abuse ranking, duel, or reward systems through cheating, automation, or exploitation.
• Reverse engineer or interfere with the service.
• Upload or transmit malicious code.

5. Premium Subscriptions

5.1 Billing

• Premium subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through the store at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, subject to store rules.
• If a free trial is offered, you may be charged automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel first.

5.2 Management and restore

• You can restore purchases inside the app.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions from your store account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to the store that processed your payment.

5.3 Pricing

Subscription prices and offers may change from time to time. The applicable price shown in the store at the time of purchase controls.

6. Account Deletion

You can request deletion directly inside the app from Settings > Account > Delete Account. For security, we may require you to confirm your sign-in method again before deletion is completed.

7. AI-Generated Content

• Some WordMaster features may generate stories or dialogue exercises using Groq.
• AI-generated content may contain mistakes, incomplete explanations, or unnatural wording.
• AI output is provided for educational assistance and practice only.
• If AI generation is unavailable, WordMaster may fall back to local non-AI content.

8. Third-Party Services

WordMaster relies on third-party services including Firebase, RevenueCat, Google AdMob, Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, and Groq. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Intellectual Property

WordMaster and its app content, design, code, branding, and learning materials are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

10. Disclaimers

• WordMaster is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, perfect accuracy, or any specific educational outcome.
• We may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WordMaster will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or create risk for other users or the platform.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your residence apply.
